At 31, Schroder played last season across three teams: the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, and Detroit Pistons. He averaged 13.1 points, 5.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds over 81 games. Schroder is now tied with several players for the second-most teams in league history and just three behind Ish Smith’s record of 13. After a 40-42 finish, the Kings traded away All-Star De’Aaron Fox and added two-time All-Star Zach LaVine. They also promoted Doug Christie to the head coach position for the long term. Now they have Schroder, which brings the Kings more stability in their core.
