The Denver Nuggets reclaimed their advantage in the series with a crucial Game 3 victory. They mounted a strong comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Semifinals with a 113-104 overtime win at Ball Arena on Friday night. Behind stellar performances from Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, the Nuggets dominated the overtime by outscoring the Thunder 11-2 to seal the win.
This victory puts the Nuggets in rare company, as only four teams since 2000 have managed to win a playoff game after suffering a 40-point loss. With this bounce-back performance, Denver now holds a 2-1 lead in the series.

Despite entering Game 3 in a bold Joker-inspired outfit, Nikola Jokic had one of his most inefficient shooting nights of the playoffs. He finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists while going just 8-for-25 from the field, including a cold 0-for-10 from beyond the arc.

The Thunder’s other top performers included Jalen Williams, who scored a team-high 32 points in 43 minutes while adding 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Chet Holmgren posted a strong double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
Isaiah Hartenstein added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. However, the Thunder couldn’t overcome their 9-point collapse in overtime and ultimately lost the night.
