Kevin Durant and Devon Booker were the mainstays of the Phoenix Suns for a long time. Together, they have given the Suns’ fans innumerable moments to cheer for. Unfortunately, that team-up did not click for this season. And the Suns had one of the most disappointing seasons this year. Now, then, looking to inject some quality for the next season, the Suns have already traded Kevin Durant. And while the rumors regarding Booker are going around, there are some interesting updates coming up.
A recent statement revealed that Devin Booker might not switch teams after all. The update stated that Booker is not keen on leaving the Suns. In fact, he has pointed out how he has many ties in Phoenix. Thus, it is a plausible option that Booker might become the Suns’ number one star in the coming season.
“Somebody very very close with Book said that he doesn’t want to leave. He loves it in Phoenix, he’s got a lot of ties there. He has no intentions to leave,” the update via ‘Gambo987’ read.
Devin Booker is still firm on being a 1 team player in Phoenix following Kevin Durant’s trade:

Surely, this might be a boon for the Suns. After all, with new recruits coming in, Devin Booker’s presence will be of utmost importance. Having known the Suns’ setting for so long, Booker can help the newcomers settle in pretty smoothly. But surely, he will definitely miss his longtime companion, Kevin Durant.
