Dwyane Wade seems to be enjoying his time to the fullest recently. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, recently released the names of the members for the Class of 2005. And one of the votes coming from the North American Committee was none other than the 2008 US Men’s National Basketball team.
This team was also known as the ‘Redeem Team,’ and of course, Wade was one of the 12 proud members of the team. After failing to clinch a gold medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics, this team has redeemed the US basketball scenario. And looking at the induction, Wade could not be more happy.

Stephen A. Smith recently opened his heart out for Dwayne Wade. He opined that when it comes to naming the most successful NBA personalities of all time, Wade’s name seldom appears.
Surely, the impact of Wade cannot be denied. Playing for the Miami Heat, Wade became one of the biggest stars of the team as well for the NBA. During his time with the Heat from 2003 to 2016, Wade guided his team to three NBA championships. Owing to his impeccable contributions to the Miami Heat, the team erected a statue last year. Thus, Smith felt it was high time now that he realized his self-worth.
“I’m going to say this on national television, D-Wade, my brother: I’m getting sick and tired of you diminishing who the hell you are. You ain’t no 25th floor. You the 30th floor. That’s a three-time champion there we’re talking about with Dwyane Wade,” said Smith.
