Giannis Antetokounmpo joining Luka Doncic in the Los Angeles Lakers sounds like a good idea, at least for now.
The Milwaukee Bucks are already down 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers in the first-round series.
And Damian Lillard’s season-ending torn Achilles injury is not looking good from anywhere.
However, former NBA forward Carlos Boozer recently weighed in on Giannis’ move to the Lakers. And he suggested that pairing him with Doncic would be a great call, given the Greek Freak wants to maximize his career.
“If Giannis doesn’t want to come back to Milwaukee, and it’s really up to him if he wants to stay or doesn’t want to stay, that would revitalize the Miami fanbase. They obviously have a lot of good players. They don’t have that guy which is kind of what we’re talking about with Houston,” Boozer said.

According to him, if Giannis has to look outside Milwaukee for his future, it has to be the Lakers.

“They don’t really have that guy. But what’s interesting for me, if I’m Giannis and I don’t want to go back to Milwaukee… maybe play with Luka? Maybe go to L.A.?” the former NBA All-Star added.
However, it has long been said and discussed that Antetokounmpo deserves a better roster. And if he wants those rings, next season would be the best time to go on a roll.
Damian Lillard’s Season Ending Injury Puts Giannis Antetokounmpo In Mix

While there will be no Lillard on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s side, a trade could make sense for everybody.
The Bucks are facing a tough reality check following Lillard’s recent injury, and there’s no one quite like him, to be honest.
Since joining the team, he has been a crucial piece of the Bucks’ puzzle. After struggling with a blood clot, he seemed to be getting back to form in Game 3, where his presence helped Milwaukee secure a win.
A Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to the Brooklyn Nets will have me lose all faith in @JoeTsai1999 and Sean Marks.

We are a bottom 3 roster in the entire NBA, Giannis would be 32 at his YOUNGEST by the time we had everything set up for a playoff run.

But in Game 4, when he limped off the court, the team couldn’t keep up and ultimately lost to the Pacers, falling into a 3–1 series hole.
Giannis, who has been the face of the franchise since his draft in 2013, would most likely enter a trade. Despite his consistent efforts to win a championship at Milwaukee, the team struggled to provide the support he needed to make that happen.
