Stephen Curry missed his second consecutive game for the Golden State Warriors in their conference semifinal game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Without their star point guard, the Warriors once again struggled to find the rhythm. Minnesota took full advantage of Curry’s absence, using their energy and home-court edge to pull out a hard-fought 102-97 win at Chase Center in Game 3.
Anthony Edwards led the charge with a stellar second-half performance that ultimately tilted the game in Minnesota’s favor. With the victory, the Timberwolves now hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
Anthony Edwards’ Second-Half Dominance Secures Win For The Minnesota Timberwolves

Edwards delivered one of the most impressive performances of the night. He finished the game with 36 points on 13-of-28 shooting, including 5-of-14 from beyond the arc and 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. In addition, he recorded four rebounds and four assists in 44 minutes on the court.
Notably, Edwards scored just eight points in the first half, shooting 3-of-12, but erupted for 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting in the second half. His performance puts him in elite company. Edwards now has the second-most playoff points by a shooting guard before turning 24 years old, trailing only the legendary Kobe Bryant.
