On Friday, the NBA officially announced the players selected for this season’s All-NBA teams. Unfortunately, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young was not among those honored, despite his consistent efforts in helping lead the Hawks to notable achievements throughout the season. The Atlanta team finished ninth in the West this season.
It was a particularly tough moment for Young, who had a strong campaign, but the setback didn’t seem to shake his confidence. Instead, Young responded in his own way, posting a cryptic five-word message on X.
“Winning takes care of everything,” Young wrote.
Winning takes care of everything !

This marks the third consecutive season Trae Young has been left off the All-NBA list. His last appearance on an All-NBA team came back in the 2021-22 season. That season, he averaged 28.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 9.7 assists per game.
Voters Overlook Trae Young In The 2025 All-NBA Selection

Trae Young only received three third-place votes for All-NBA this season. It’s surprising, especially as he was first in assists and seventh in points this season. The Hawks star ended the 2024-25 season averaging 24.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 11.6 assists in 76 games.
