According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Lakers confirmed a two-year, $12 million deal with LaRavia. The power forward played with the Sacramento Kings and averaged 6.9 points per game, shooting 48% from the field.

The 6-foot-7 forward offers his defensive versatility and neat shooting efficiency. He is another option off the bench who can make ball movement, space the floor, and guard from multiple positions. As James is likely to rest more and Doncic is taking charge of ball handling, LaRavia’s off-ball skills could make a significant impact.

Even though he did not put up huge numbers, his ability to stretch the floor and strategic playmaking made him a favorite among scouts. He projects as a second-unit forward who could push for 15-20 minutes per game depending on the matchup.
