Giannis Antetokounmpo has made a strong return for the Milwaukee Bucks after missing time due to a calf injury. The injury even kept him out of this year’s All-Star Game. Since the All-Star Weekend, Giannis has been back on the court, playing in all three games for the Bucks and gradually increasing his minutes.
The Bucks are preparing to face the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, and Giannis is once again listed as probable with a left calf strain. However, fans can remain optimistic about his availability. In the Bucks’ last game against the Miami Heat, Giannis was also marked as probable but ultimately took the court and led the team to victory. This pattern suggests he is likely to play against the Rockets as well.
Giannis has been on a minute restriction since his return. He started with 19 minutes in his first game back, followed by 24 minutes in the next. However, his most recent game showed promising progress, as he logged 32 minutes.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Keeps It Real About Minute Restrictions After Miami Victory
Giannis Antetokounmpo made it clear that he isn’t a fan of the limitation. After the Bucks’ recent win over the Miami Heat, a reporter asked if he appreciated head coach Doc Rivers’ trust in slightly extending his playtime. Giannis responded with his signature humor and honesty.
“Nah, if he trusted me, he should have played me 36 minutes. He played me 40 seconds more. He just couldn’t get me out, that’s why. He tried to get me out, but he couldn’t. But yeah, hopefully moving forward, I don’t like playing with minutes restrictions. I don’t know how long this is going to go for, but hopefully, I can get back to playing my regular minutes,” Giannis said.
