The New York Knicks will face the Indiana Pacers in ECF Game 4 next, and all eyes are on Jalen Brunson.
Luckily, as per the latest update, Brunson is not listed as having any physical difficulty on the injured list. And he will play against the Pacers.
However, the Knicks will come confident in Game 4 after pulling off an incredible comeback victory in Game 3. They turned what seemed like a sure loss into a thrilling 106-100 victory over the Pacers.
Since game 5 vs Boston, Jalen Brunson’s play has been very uncharacteristic.

In foul trouble way too much, a lot of bone headed decisions & turnovers, & really bad defense. Things we haven’t seen in previous postseasons.

After falling behind by 20 points, the Knicks put their heads down and rallied in the second half, avoiding a potentially devastating 3-0 series deficit. Now, with the series at 2-1, they are set to face the Pacers again on Tuesday night in Indiana.
A huge part of the Knicks’ success came from Karl-Anthony Towns, who had a spectacular fourth quarter. He started the final period with just four points but exploded for 20 points in the last 12 minutes.
It marked the second-most fourth-quarter points scored by a Knicks player in playoff history since 1997. The Knicks really needed that firepower from Towns, especially with Jalen Brunson dealing with foul trouble during the second half.

Jalen Brunson Praised Karl-Anthony Towns For Game 3 Heroics

While Jalen Brunson couldn’t significantly contribute to the team’s Game 3 victory, there was Karl-Anthony Towns in action.
Watching from the bench due to foul trouble, Brunson saw Towns take charge like a true superstar. KAT scored an incredible 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the team pull off a dramatic comeback.
“I saw a guy go out there who did not want to lose, and so the way he just went out there and basically got that game for us was remarkable,” Brunson said.

Another positive takeaway from Game 3 was the Knicks’ solid defense against Pacers star Pascal Siakam. After allowing him to go off for 39 points in the previous game, they tightened up and held him to just 17 points this time around.
Brunson noted that limiting Siakam’s ability to score, especially in transition, was key to their success.
