Following Denver’s Game 6 victory, Jamal Murray addressed the media about his health and availability. When asked if he ever considered sitting out, Murray dismissed the idea, expressing his determination to be on the court.
“No, I woke up feeling it, went to the clinic, and got tested for a couple of different things. It was negative, so I’m happy about that. But I was always gonna play in my mind. I’m glad we got the win and gave ourselves some life and a chance to win the series,” Murray said.
The conference semifinals between the Nuggets and the Thunder are now locked at three games apiece. The outcome of Game 7 will determine which team moves forward. Despite being listed as probable, Murray is anticipated to take the floor once again to guide his team to a crucial win.
