The Los Angeles Clippers are about to pull off the comeback of the season. Facing off against the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers turned the game on its head. Enforcing a 7th game with a 3-3 tie after Game 6, the Clippers would want to see off the Nuggets in Game 7. However, for that to happen, they would need one man to remain in the pinkest health- Kawhi Leonard.
Leonard has been one of the pillars behind the Clippers’ success in the NBA this season. Thus, ahead of the all-important Game 7, all eyes are on his injury status. Thankfully, Leonard has kept himself devoid of any significant injuries. Thus, Kawhi Leonard is not featured on the injury list. He is expected to start against the Nuggets as usual.

Now, this bit of news comes as the sweetest words for the Clippers’ fans. After all, Leonard has been in some electric form this season. He dropped 39 points in one of the playoff games to keep the Clippers afloat. And if that was not enough, Leonard’s antics in Game 6 were incredible. The Clippers’ star scored 28 points, and his team won 111-105. Meanwhile, as Leonard continues to wreak havoc, Stephen A. Smith had predicted all of this earlier.
Stephen A. Smith Predicted A Kawhi Leonard Special This Season

Kawhi Leonard began the season on a somber tone. Owing to injuries, he sat out of the initial 34 games. Not returning until January 4, 2025, very few had high expectations from Leonard. But the Clippers’ star was immediately making an impact. In the 37 games he played, Leonard averaged 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. And this was enough for Stephen A. Smith to understand that he was due for something big.
“You got me. That damn Kawhi Leonard looks special right now,” Smith said on ‘First Take.’
