The Denver Nuggets once again failed to maintain their grip on the series. Despite Nikola Jokic delivering another stellar performance and helping the team secure a lead in the first half, the Oklahoma City Thunder mounted a powerful comeback in the second half in Game 4. As a result, the series is now tied at 2-2.
Game 5 is scheduled to take place on Tuesday. Ahead of the crucial game, the Denver Nuggets released their injury report. Fortunately for the team and fans, Jokic is not listed and is expected to play.
However, two players are officially ruled out. Hunter Tyson is out due to a right ankle sprain, and DaRon Holmes II is out as he is recovering from a right Achilles tendon repair.

Throughout the first round and into the conference semifinals, Jokic has remained fully healthy. He has appeared in every playoff game so far. Given his central role in Denver’s success, especially in the first-round victory over the LA Clippers in seven games, the team cannot afford to lose him. A single game without their franchise star could prove costly.
Charles Barkley Says Nikola Jokic Is Wearing Down

NBA legend Charles Barkley voiced his concerns about Nikola Jokic’s recent form during his appearance on NBA on TNT. Barkley believes the reigning MVP may be feeling the effects of heavy on-court pressure.

“Denver has not addressed their backup center situation or their bench. That’s one of the things that hurt them last year. Cuz he gave out of gas last year against Rudy and Big Kat. So I don’t think it’s fair to blame everything on the Joker, but he is not playing well, and I think he’s wearing down,” Barkley said.
Jokic’s shooting form has become a concern in the conference semifinal series. He has shown visible signs of struggle in recent outings. Over his last three playoff games, he has shot just 33.3 percent from the field and only 18.2 percent from beyond the arc. These numbers are well below his usual standards and could impact Denver’s chances moving forward.
