The Denver Nuggets are gearing up to face the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 4, and fans are curious about Nikola Jokic’s status for the game.
As per the injury report, Jokic is not listed for any reason and will play against the OKC. However, DaRon Holmes is the only nugget who is out for the season with an Achilles injury.
However, during the Game 4 showdown against the Nuggets, there’s a lot on the line for the Thunder. After an incredible 68-14 regular season, OKC find themselves in a tough spot, trailing 2-1 in the series.

Coming into this game, they’re favored by 6.5 points, and it’s clear they’re ready to fight hard to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole.
Additionally, the Nuggets pulled off a thrilling overtime win in the last game. Their key players, including Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and Jamal Murray, came through when it mattered most.
Jokic, however, has faced some challenges lately, scoring under 20 points in the last couple of games after going off for 44 points in Game 1. If he can find his groove again, it could change the game.

Nikola Jokic Admits His Struggle Against The Thunder In Game 3

While the Nuggets are leading the series 2-1, Nikola Jokic is not content with his recent performance.
During the crucial Game 3, Jokic struggled significantly, finishing with just 20 points on 8-of-25 shooting, including a dismal 0-of-10 performance from beyond the arc.
Despite his team’s victory that put them ahead in the series, Jokic humbly admitted that he felt like the worst player on the court that night.
The three-time MVP recently acknowledged that he needs to understand the Thunder’s defensive strategy.
“I missed 10 threes. They’re aggressive, they’re physical, they’re handsy. They’re in the shrink, they’re playing passing lanes. I don’t know what they’re doing because if I knew, I wouldn’t do it or make those kinds of mistakes.I need to figure out what they’re doing. Basically, I was the worst player on the court today. But we won the game, and that was the most important,” Jokic said.

The Thunder’s defensive scheme has indeed proven effective against Jokic, with a rotation of big men Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Jaylin Williams.
As Jokic noted, the Thunder have been aggressive and physical. They were closing off his passing lanes and preventing him from finding his usual scoring opportunities.
Despite his offensive woes, Jokic remains focused on the larger goal of winning games.
