
The Indiana Pacers are up for an exciting Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the Pacers are already leading 1-0 in the series, fans are curious about Tyrese Haliburton’s status for the game.
As per current updates, Haliburton is not listed in the injury report with any physical difficulty. Though there are a couple of names, Indiana would miss the game.
Isaiah Jackson is out for the season due to a calf injury, while Jarace Walker is out for Game 2 with an ankle injury sustained earlier in the playoffs.

Though for the OKC Thunder, Nikola Topic is out for the season due to an ACL injury. He has been sidelined since before the start of the season. The Thunder are otherwise fully healthy and poised to compete in the Finals.

His acquisition from the Sacramento Kings in 2022 marked a turning point for the franchise. Pacers GM Chad Buchanan discussed their strategic approach to building the team around a dynamic young guard rather than relying on a traditional center.
“Our team was kind of at a crossroads. We didn’t really have a guy, like a young player, that you could really build around…So we tried to target some young guards, playmaking guards around the league that we thought maybe fit the bill. They’re very hard to acquire, obviously. We felt like Tyrese, with the way Rick wanted to play, and how we want to build a team in the modern NBA,” he said.

The Pacers made a significant trade, sending Domantas Sabonis and others to Sacramento in exchange for Haliburton and additional players.
