Tyrese Haliburton Is Taking Inspiration From Stephen Curry For NBA Finals

The Tyrese Haliburton-led Pacers are currently holding a tight advantage in the NBA Finals against the Thunder following the Game 3 win.
In this game, Haliburton fell just one rebound short of a triple-double despite a great showing.
Recently, Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix revealed that Haliburton has been studying a decade’s worth of footage of Stephen Curry in preparation for the Finals.
“Early in the week, Haliburton’s trainer, Drew Hanlen, fired off a file of a decade’s worth of Curry’s postseason field goals. A highlight reel of Curry torching defenders from San Antonio to Houston, Cleveland to Boston. A generation of shooters have been inspired by Curry. In his first NBA Finals, perhaps Haliburton could be, too,” he wrote.

Curry, with his exceptional play and overcoming tough defenses, has greatly influenced a new generation of basketball players, including Haliburton. Mannix noted how Haliburton turned to Curry’s play style after facing challenges against the Thunder’s defense.
