The free agent guard took to social media recently and made the news in an entirely different way when he posted his strong dislike for President Donald Trump.
“Hate is a very strong word but I really HATE this president”
On Monday, President Donald Trump declared himself “the president of law and order” and threatened to deploy the United States military to American cities to quell a rise of violent protests. At thew same time that he was speaking, a split screen showed military police and law enforcement clashing with protesters at Lafayette Park.
Those peaceful demonstrators were cleared so Trump could walk across the park to St. John’s Episcopal Church to take a picture.
“We have the greatest country in the world,” Trump declared. “We’re going to keep it safe.”
