The New York Knicks are already in a mess with finding their new head coach, and Jalen Brunson better not be joking at this time.
After a historic season that saw them reach the Eastern Conference Finals, the Knicks are now at a crossroads.
Recently, Knicks star point guard Brunson caused a bit of a stir with a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter). He tweeted out of confusion without giving away any bit of hint to his fans about what he was talking about.
However, now he has come forward to clarify that the confusing tweet was for the TV reality show, Love Island.
“Damn my bad yall, I was talking about love island,” Brunson retweeted.

Jalen Brunson Wins High Praise From Milwaukee Bucks HC

While Jalen Brunson is keeping his fans on their toes, he has some great appreciation coming from NBA coaches.
Among those who have taken notice is Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers. During his appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Rivers expressed his astonishment at Brunson’s transformation.
“I liked him in Dallas, you know, he played okay against me when he was in the first year in Philly. But when we played them, I think it was at home last year, and I was like, holy gosh, this guy is good,” Rivers said
Brunson’s journey from averaging modest numbers in Dallas to becoming a dynamic force with the Knicks has caught many off guard.
In the first four years of his NBA career, Brunson averaged 11.9 points and 3.7 assists per game. However, upon joining the Knicks, he dramatically elevated his performance to an average of 26.4 points and 6.7 assists per game over the past three seasons.
