The Oklahoma City Thunder has been one of the teams to beat this season. Maintaining a top position throughout the regular season, the Thunder maintained their record in the playoffs too. Qualifying for the conference finals, the likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and co., dominated the initial couple of games. However, as Game 3 went on, the Thunder seemed to have lost the midas touch. And while they suffered a 42-points thrashing, Jalen Williams is trying to be optimistic.
In what was a shocker, the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Thunder with a scoreline of 143-101. Thus, with the series now 2-1, the Wolves would be fancying a chance to make a comeback. Soon after the game, the warning bells went off among the Thunder’s fans. Thankfully, Jalen Willams gave an example where it could always have been worse.
“In college, I lost by 60. So it can always be worse,” said Williams.
Jalen Williams talked about how they gotta focus on the series being 2-1 and can’t linger too much on the 42-point loss: “In college, I lost by 60. So it can always be worse.”

Surely, the team must not be panicking with the loss. Despite having an off-day in the office, the Thunder should look to not repeat the mistakes and come back stronger in Game 4. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander(14), Chet Holmgren(10), and Jalen Williams(13) looking out of color, the Timberwolves took the opportunity to wreak havoc. Meanwhile, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander pulling off a game winning performance against the Nuggets right after a loss, the Timberwolves must be ready to brace for the impact.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Form Must Give Hope To Jalen Williams And His Fans

The Thunder suffered a brutal loss in Game 6 while up against the Denver Nuggets. However, while a major part of the NBA realm believed that Nikola Jokic and co. will be able to run riot, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had other ideas. Coming to Game 7, the NBA MVP delivered a thunderous performance to see his team through to the next round. And while he did so, SGA had a savage reply to drop.
