The Boston Celtics had one of the forgettable games recently. Coming into the conference semifinals, the Celtics were trailing 2-3. Thus, the goal was pretty clear. It has to be a win or nothing. Unfortunately, the Boston fans were not able to leave the game smiling as the Celtics faltered. Losing the game 81-119 will surely sting for a long time. And moments after the game, Celtics’ star, Jaylen Brown pointed out exactly how he felt.
Soon after the game, Brown came in for the usual interview. While he looked visibly disappointed, Brown summed up the grim reality with his statement. The Celtics’ star stated that the loss felt like ‘death’ for the entire team. Now, while this might sound like a bit of a stretch, the Celtics did come to the second round playoffs with a lot of expectations. Thus, getting their expectations thwarted brutally has surely taken a toll.
“Losing to the Knicks feels like death. But I was always taught that there’s life after death,” said Brown.

Surely, the luck for the Celtics didn’t add up as they would have liked to. In a crucial juncture of the league, the Celtics lost the services of Jayson Tatum. And if that was not enough, Kristaps Porzingis too, was missing from the lineup in Game 6. Meanwhile, as the Celtics bowed out, Jayson Tatum earlier disclosed the pangs of being ‘the guy.’

“You just understand what comes with being that guy. I live a great life; I make a lot of money, I take care of my family… But I’m not perfect, and there are times where I’ve needed to play better. I’ve needed to do more. And that comes with being that guy,” said Tatum.
