The Los Angeles Lakers have been on a high recently. With JJ Redick at the helm, things did not look quite promising in the initial stages. After securing back-to-back wins, things started to fall apart for the Lakers. However, it was JJ Redick’s tactics that helped the purple and gold make a comeback. And boy was it some comeback! In recent times, LeBron James and co. last tasted defeat against the Charlotte Hornets.
Since then, they have been on a 6-game winning streak. In their recent matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, the purple and gold won 108-102. With their playoff possibilities looking extremely bright, head coach JJ Redick has reflected on his team’s chances of making it to the next round.
“I want to make the playoffs and I don’t want to be in the play-in,” said Redick.

Surely, given the Lakers’ current form, Redick’s words might not seem ambitious. The Los Angeles Lakers have jumped to the second spot in the West, with 38 wins and 21 losses. To make things further rosy for Redick, the Lakers’ attacking trio has achieved a rare feat.
LeBron James, Austin Reaves, And Luka Doncic Create History
While the Lakers won against the Minnesota Timberwolves, their attacking trio created history. This was the very first time that a Lakers trio had scored 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in a single game since 1988!
