The NBA finals are taking a nerve-wrecking turn with each game. With the Oklahoma City Thunder winning Game 4 111-104, the series is drawn level at 2-2. Meanwhile, coming into the game, the Thunder were pretty much tense. After all, trailing in the NBA finals is not at all something one would opt for. However, one of the ex-team members of the Thunder decided to play a prank on Jaylin Williams.
Josh Giddey was drafted to the Thunder back in 2021. And while he is no longer a part of the squad, the mischievous side of Giddey was enough to annoy Williams. The night before Game 4, Giddey called Jaylin Williams and trolled him. Here’s how the duo went about their phone conversation.
Giddey: “I’m just calling to say goodnight.”
JWill: “Bro get off my phone with that bullsh*t.”
Giddey: “Have a good sleep, sweet dreams.”

Surely, Williams’ reaction was quite justified. With a big game coming up, he was tense about the game going down smoothly. Meanwhile, despite the trolling, Giddey has been supporting the Thunder throughout their playoff run this season. However, keeping all the fun and trolling aside, Giddey is on the verge of getting a lucrative NBA contract.
Josh Giddey Could Land A Massive Contract Extension With The Chicago Bulls

Giddey has been a great find for the Chicago Bulls. The Australian star impressed significantly this season despite a poor showing from the Bulls. He had an average of 23.1 points while shooting 52.5% from three-pointers. Such a strong showing has led him to become Bulls’ main playmaker. And with all these stats, comes a lucrative contract as well. As per Brian Windhorst, Giddy might get an offer of $30 million per season from the Bulls.

“The going rate for a starting point guard in the NBA is around thirty million dollars. He is their starter. He’s not quite the scorer or defender Quickley is, so maybe slightly less,” Windhorst said via ‘FoxSports.’
