The New York Knicks had a star-studded lineup of celebrity viewers on Sunday as they faced off against the Phoenix Suns, and one of them certainly got the attention of OG Anunoby.
Anunoby lit up Madison Square Garden with 32 points as the New York Knicks defeated the Phoenix Suns 112–98 on Sunday night, and fans believe Olympic champion Sunisa Lee’s presence courtside was the spark behind his behavior on the court.
Anunoby put on a performance for the ages in the Knicks’ Sunday night win. He not only scored 32 points but also had six rebounds and three assists to help lift New York over Phoenix.
Footage from the game shows Suni Lee waving to the Madison Square Garden crowd, and Anunoby can be seen in awe of her presence.
One shot of OG Anunoby showed him in a trance while on the bench.
From there, he would go crazy scoring the basketball, which also included an insane 360 dunk.

OG Anunoby Is Having The Best Scoring Season of His Career

OG Anunoby has been playing out of his mind this year.
Sunday marked his 10th consecutive game with 20+ points or more.
In 72 games played, he is averaging 18.1 points per game, the most he has averaged in a season.
The New York Knicks acquired forward OG Anunoby in a trade that sent RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a 2024 second-round pick to the Toronto Raptors back in December 2023.
That trade has worked out for them well.
