Isaiah Thomas just might be getting his second chance in the league.
The Los Angeles Lakers have considered using one of their final roster spots on Isaiah Thomas, sources tell Marc Stein.
The 32-year-old is attempting to remain in the NBA after a short stint during the 20-21 season with the New Orleans Pelicans. As you know, he was teammates with LeBron James during half of the 17-18 season until he was traded to the Lakers.
Thomas has been trending on social media ever since he scored 81 points in the Crawsover Pro-Am in Seattle on Sunday. Last season, Thomas averaged a career-low 7.7 points but did score in double figures twice.
After the game, he was caught on camera crying in the locker room about how the NBA gave up on him.
