LeBron James is reportedly eyeing a championship in his 23rd NBA season. Hence, already the NBA is buzzing about whether he will continue his career with the Los Angeles Lakers or change his team in pursuit of a title.
Recently, James was spotted at the Cleveland Cavaliers’ practice facility. Rumors again started to swirl about his next move. But King James came forward and shut down all the buzz with a post on X.
“And every summer since it was built. I live here still and train every summer. Got damn yall bored man! Go get a plate of food somewhere and enjoy the 4th of July!” James wrote.

LeBron has been with the Lakers since 2018, and during that time, he delivered a championship in 2020. However, the franchise has struggled to maintain consistent success since then.
The Lakers added Luka Doncic via a midseason trade to bolster their chances alongside James this past season. Even so, the team’s playoff journey was short-lived. Their trophy dream ended in the first round at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Recently, one of the most eyebrow-raising rumors has tied LeBron James to the Dallas Mavericks. But ESPN’s Tim MacMahon is having none of it. On ESPN’s Get Up, MacMahon quickly poured cold water on the potential move. He argued that the price tag would be far too steep for the Mavericks’ roster.
“All the Mavericks have to do is completely gut their rotation. Give up guys like Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, Naji Marshall, Max Christie. You’re giving up three or four rotation players for potentially a ring-chasing retirement tour. That doesn’t make sense for Dallas,” MacMahon said.
The pursuit of another championship remains a priority, but the foundation is already in place in L.A. Moreover, the team has been active this offseason to bolster their roster.
