Professional basketball player and rapper LiAngelo Ball and his girlfriend, Rashida Nicole, announced some wonderful personal life news on Thursday.
In an Instagram post, Rashida Nicole announced that she is pregnant with her and LiAngelo Ball’s child. Nicole posted several photos and thanked her daughter for helping during the journey in a heartwarming post:
This will be Nicole’s second child, and Ball’s third. Ball has a son and a daughter (born in December) with his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Mudarris. In a since-deleted Instagram post shared back in February, Mudarris claimed that Ball walked out on the family and got someone else pregnant, though it’s not clear if she was referring to Nicole at the time.
News of Rashida Nicole’s relationship with LiAngelo Ball became public in February after the latter’s well-documented split from Mudarris. It’s not clear how long Nicole and Ball have been speaking or how exactly the two met.
LiAngelo’s older brother, Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls, has a daughter from a previous relationship with Denise Garcia. With LiAngelo and Nicole expecting their first child together, Tina and LaVar Ball will soon have four grandchildren.
Lonzo and LaMelo’s younger brother, LaMelo Ball, just wrapped up his fifth season with the Charlotte Hornets and averaged a career-high 25.2 points per game. Ball is averaging 21 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.4 rebounds per contest in 231 career games.

LiAngelo Ball Never Made It To The NBA

After playing for the UCLA Bruins, Liangelo signed with BC Prienai in the Lithuanian Basketball League. He spent one season there before signing with the Los Angeles Ballers of the Junior Basketball Association, a league created by his father.
During the 2021-22 season, he joined the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets. Ball played the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons there and briefly played for Astros de Jalisco of the CIBACOPA in Mexico.
Ball has since launched a successful rapping career, signing a deal with Def Jam Recordings in January worth $8 million guaranteed.
