The Oklahoma City Thunder got hold of the Indiana Pacers in the 2025 NBA Finals Game 7 to win their first championship. But it came with a little bit of humiliation for their star guard Alex Caruso, all in good sense.
After winning his first championship with the Thunder and his second in his basketball career, Caruso got called up during the ceremony. However, little did he know that being a 31-year-old guy would earn him an ‘unc’ title.
“Where is the old guy? Where is unc?” ESPN’s Lisa Salters said.

Interestingly, Caruso became the oldest guy in the team as the roster had one of the best young players in the league. And the only one among the Thunder players to win his second NBA title.
Although Salters soon realized that her words might take away the joy of their newly found championship joy. She then joked, saying, “And I’m just kidding, you’re not that old obviously.”
