
After kicking off the 2025 NBA Playoffs against the Los Angeles Clippers with a thrilling overtime victory, the Denver Nuggets have lost two straight games. Kawhi Leonard and James Harden powered the Clippers to a dominant 34-point win in their first home game of the series.
Two-time NBA champion Leonard led the Clippers in scoring with 21 points alongside 11 rebounds and six assists. Harden contributed 20 points, nine assists, and six rebounds, while Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac added 20 and 19 points, respectively.
The Clippers bench also impressed in the blowout victory as Nicolas Batum added 12 points and three blocks, while Derrick Jones Jr. scored 10 points and made two blocks. L.A. led the Nuggets in three of the four quarters to register a statement win in Game 3.
Nikola Jokic Registers Triple-Double In Blowout Loss To Clippers

The Denver Nuggets’ big man, Nikola Jokic, impressed with his performance at the Intuit Dome. The three-time NBA MVP rose to the occasion and delivered a sensational performance, registering a triple-double. Jokic scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and made 13 assists.
Apart from Jokic, Jamal Murray scored 23 points, and Aaron Gordon added 15 points to become the only three Nuggets players scoring in double digits. Nuggets star guard Russell Westbrook spent nine minutes on the court, scoring three points, one rebound, and an assist.
The Nuggets not only lost the game but also suffered a setback in Westbrook’s injury. The 2017 NBA MVP appeared to roll his ankle during warmup ahead of Game 3. He played through the injury but left the game with left foot inflammation. It will be interesting to see whether the 2023 NBA champions bounce back or the Clippers take a 3-1 lead owing to the home advantage in Game 4.
