The Oklahoma City Thunder secured a hard-fought 103-101 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday at Intuit Dome, despite missing Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. With their second- and third-best players sidelined, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stepped up in a big way. The Thunder star snapped the Clippers’ five-game win streak and reinforced the Thunder’s dominance in the Western Conference.
With the win, Oklahoma City strengthened its hold on the top seed in the West, improving to a 59-12 record. The Thunder have won nine of their last ten games, including six straight. On the other hand, the loss was a setback for the Clippers, who now hold a 40-31 record and currently sit in the eighth seed in the Western Conference standings.

His scoring consistency continues to put him in elite company. Shai entered the game as just the seventh player in NBA history to record 20 or more points in 60 consecutive games within a single season. Over the last three seasons, Gilgeous-Alexander has been instrumental in the Thunder’s resurgence. He led the team to 145 wins in that span, which is 10 more than the Clippers.
Andrew Wiggins scored 19 points in 26 minutes, and Isaiah Hartenstein posted a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Meanwhile, Luguentz Dort and Alex Caruso added defensive stability while combining for 24 points.
