He makes a valuable option in spacing-focused lineups. Though he missed most of the season after foot surgery, the Lakers still see his worth for the upcoming season.

However, the Lakers are reportedly showing interest in AI Horford, which can complicate Kleber’s deal. If Horford agrees to make a deal, Kleber could be included in the trade. For now, the Lakers seem to give him a chance to prove himself in depth.
