Luka Doncic is now at one of the most hyped franchises, and he’s learning a thing or two about boos and chants.
The Slovenian superstar went all in against the Denver Nuggets and dropped 21 points in the first quarter alone. However, despite his epic shooting, a Nuggets fan tried heckling Doncic after he missed a free throw.
The arena was quiet when Luka made another attempt to sink a three-pointer, and the fan was heard loud and clear shouting – “Ball don’t lie, Luka!”

Just as his unmissable aim at the net, the star guard did not miss the trash-talking from the fans and responded almost immediately, with a perfect free throw as well as with a one-liner roast- “I got 20 you talking about ball don’t lie.”
And then he went on to shout the same “ball don’t lie” slang to put the noisy fan in his place.

Nuggets Had No Answer To Luka Doncic’s Dominance

Other than trashing back at the opponent team’s supporter, Luka Doncic stole the spotlight on Wednesday night. He delivered a sensational performance that helped the LA Lakers shut the Nuggets for a 120-108 victory.
After facing a tough loss just days earlier, the Lakers came out with fire, scoring a season-high 46 points in the first quarter. Doncic was unstoppable, netting 21 points during that explosive opening period. Luka remained tactical, knowing very well that Denver is missing their key players, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, due to injury.
The Lakers’ offense was in full swing, and Doncic was the catalyst. He ended his points tally with a successful run and got 31 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists in just three quarters.

He maintained his rhythm very well, which contributed to an impressive 60% shooting from the field in the first three quarters. It wasn’t just a one-man show, though. Austin Reaves stepped up with 22 points and eight assists, while six Lakers scored in double figures.
Despite missing LeBron James and Rui Hachimura, the Lakers’ chemistry was evident as they built a massive 28-point lead by the end of the third quarter. That allowed Doncic some well-deserved rest.
However, the victory marked the Lakers’ third consecutive win and their ninth straight at home.
