“I saw Al Horford about to jump, but once I saw him commit on the right side of the basket, I said, I am gonna try some sh**. I used to practice in my backyard,” Irving said.
Kyrie Irving put on quite a show this season, averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists across 50 games. Unfortunately, his unexpected absence cast a shadow over the Mavericks‘ journey, but they still fought hard to clinch a playoff spot. Their thrilling quest, however, hit a wall when they were defeated 120-106 in the intense play-in tournament.
