The rumors might just come true. With the Milwaukee Bucks not performing as expected, they might be in for another major heartbreak.
According to a recent report on ESPN by Shams Charania, Giannis Antetokounmpo might be done with the Bucks! Now, nothing has been confirmed on Antetokounmpo’s part. But if Charania’s report is to be believed, then the Bucks have a big offseason problem.
Antetokounmpo had been a pillar for the Milwaukee Bucks for all these years. Unfortunately, over the last few seasons, the Bucks have been unable to match the standards. This was the third consecutive time that Antetokounmpo and his team crashed out of the NBA in the first round of the postseason. Thus, for the first time, Antetokounmpo is seemingly open to exploring his options.
Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has not made any firm decisions, but for the first time in his career, he is open-minded about whether his best fit is remaining in Milwaukee – or playing elsewhere, league sources told ESPN.

This could be a massive deal if what the league sources allegedly told ESPN is accurate. Antetokounmpo has been phenomenal this season. Finishing with an average of 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists, the Bucks’ star will surely rile up the transfer market. Moreover, he also ended up getting featured in the top 3 of the MVP list.
Giorgios Panou and Alex Saratsis, the representatives of the Bucks and Antetokounmpo, respectively, are expected to sit down and finalize the future. Meanwhile, with rumors swirling, an NBA analyst recently had a couple of possible destinations that Giannis Antetokounmpo might opt for.

The buzz has been getting louder with each passing day. Both the fans and the critics have started to believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo’s time with the Bucks has come to an end. On the same, Howard Beck, from ‘The Ringer’, recently made predictions. Speaking on ‘The Zach Lowe Show Podcast,’ Beck named teams like the Los Angeles Lakers as his probable destination.
“I poked around a little bit a few days ago. The initial thing I got from one person was just like some rumblings that it’s already just the big cities. one of the LA teams or one of the New York teams or maybe Miami, not a big market, but a glamour market, mid-size market,” Beck said.
