After dropping the first two games in the series, the Minnesota Timberwolves were determined not to fall behind any further. On Saturday, they delivered a commanding performance at the Target Center by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 143-101. The blowout win helped Minnesota stay alive in the series, now trailing 2-1.
The loss was a historical one for Oklahoma City. With the result, the Thunder became the first team in NBA history to experience both a 40+ point win and a 40+ point loss within the same postseason.
Anthony Edwards’ Impact Is Undeniable In The Minnesota Timberwolves’ Game 3 Win

Edwards showcased his scoring ability once again on Saturday. He finished the night with 30 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. He shot 12-of-17 from the field, including 5-of-8 from three-point range. Edwards now joins an elite list of guards, Kobe Bryant and Luka Doncic, who have recorded 15 or more 30-point playoff games before turning 24.
