Thunder Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Sets Career-High In Playoff

Gilgeous-Alexander had his best playoff performance yet. He scored a career-high 40 points. He also recorded 10 assists and nine rebounds, just one board shy of a triple-double. He shot 13-of-30 from the field and was efficient from the free-throw line, converting 12 of his 14 attempts.

Shai also contributed a steal on the defensive end. With this stat line, Gilgeous-Alexander became just the seventh player in NBA history to post a 40-point, 10-assist game in the Conference Finals.
Jalen Williams also stepped up in a big way, scoring a playoff career-high 34 points, including six three-pointers. He added five assists and played 39 minutes of high-intensity basketball. Chet Holmgren contributed 21 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Alex Caruso added 10 points, while Cason Wallace chipped in with seven points and three rebounds.

Both Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle struggled on Monday. Edwards finished with 16 points and six assists, while Randle added only five points and seven rebounds.
Yet, the Timberwolves had multiple contributors but ultimately fell just short. Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the way with 23 points, six assists, and four rebounds. Jaden McDaniels added 22 points, while Donte DiVincenzo scored 21. Rudy Gobert also had a solid outing with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Naz Reid came off the bench with 11 points and six rebounds.
