The 2025 NBA Playoff are not getting away without one after another blunder.
This season, we’ve seen it all. From fights to ejections to fan interventions. And the latest unmissable mistake has got eyeballs rolling.
The Knicks had a great chance to wrap things up in Game 5 at Madison Square Garden against the Pistons. But things didn’t go as planned.
Despite the home-court advantage and the excitement of the fans, they fell short, losing 106-103. Cade Cunningham stepped up big for the Pistons, leading them with 24 points and keeping their playoff hopes alive by forcing a Game 6 in Detroit.

To add to the night’s chaos, TNT’s graphics department made a pretty embarrassing mistake. Right after Game 5 ended, their screen incorrectly showed that the Knicks had won the NBA Playoff series 4-1.
Soon after the incident went viral on the internet, fans started calling out the network for rigging the series in the Knicks’ favor.

NBA Fans Call Out TNT For Rigging The Series
The first round of playoffs has already gotten enough attention, and the embarrassing graphic mistake is only adding to it.
While many think it was just a human error, not many would have noticed, and social media got filled with snaps of the mistake.

However, with all of these issues compiled, the NBA is not looking in a good state. While fans are still getting used to the format changes and everything, mistakes like these won’t go unnoticed.
