The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up for the first round of the NBA playoffs, and the Golden State Warriors are ‘Ducking’ them. Really?
With the Warriors playoff hanging in the balance, Stephen Curry is listed as questionable for the final regular season game against the Clippers.
Curry took a right thumb injury during the first quarter of the last game against the Portland Trail Blazers after bumping his thumb against an opponent’s knee. He briefly left the game but made a strong comeback in the second quarter, finishing with 14 points.
However, he did mention that the injury caused him some discomfort while shooting, calling it “fresh pain.” The good news is that the X-rays returned negative, and the team is hopeful he’ll be good to go for the Clippers game.

This upcoming game is massive! If the Warriors win, they clinch the No. 6 seed and will take on the LA Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, a matchup many fans are excited about. But if they lose and the Minnesota Timberwolves win, too, they could find themselves slipping into the play-in tournament. No one wants that drama!
However, fans are speculating whether Curry’s recent injury might help the Warriors avoid the tough matchup with the Lakers. Yes, no, maybe.

The Warriors have struggled against the Clippers recently, having lost six straight games, so Sunday’s contest will be tough. Plus, it’s the first time they’ll face the Clippers with Jimmy Butler in their lineup, which adds another layer of excitement.
