The Los Angeles Lakers camp is not in a state by any means. After picking up four back-to-back losses, the Lakers have more things to worry about. They are without their top two stars- LeBron James and Luka Doncic. And the extent of their impact was clearly visible in the Lakers’ recent game against the Nuggets. Losing the game 126-131, the fans could not rejoice for their favorite team. But after a closer look at the play, online fans have lashed out at the referee for one of his antics.
In what was a fantastic play from Jamal Murray, he delivered a clutch three-point shot right at the dying moments of the game. Soon after, Russell Westbrook stole the inbound pass to nail an exclamation point dunk. However, amidst all this, fans were particularly unhappy with the referee’s blown call. They felt that the call cost the Lakers the game.

Well, coming back to the game, it was end-to-end action. The Lakers went up in the lead early on, only to see it vanish in a jiffy. Murray was the pick of the players, with 26 points. Nikola Jokic, too, starred as usual, dropping 28 points to see his team through in a tough game. Nonetheless, the hoops fans looked really agitated with the referee. They took to social media to address their frustrations.

Well, whatever the referees’ decision was, it is evident that the Lakers are dearly missing the services of Doncic and James. It now remains to be seen how they can bounce back.
