Tyrese Haliburton has been phenomenon this season. Guiding the Indiana Pacers, Haliburton has put his team in a position of clinching the championship. Coming into the 2025 NBA Finals, Haliburton’s Pacers were considered the underdogs. However, right from Game 1, Haliburton and Co. have shown what they are capable of. While all hopes looked lost, Haliburton rose to the occasion to drive home a clutch buzzer beater in Game 1. Now, as the Pacers lead 2-1, a new stat about Haliburton has made his NBA run even more impressive.
Tyrese Haliburton dropped a crucial 22 points to drive home Game 3. And in all the three games in the final, Haliburton has not attempted a single free throw. Now, that is quite impressive when his arch rival, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is being dubbed as a ‘free throw merchant.’

Stats also suggests that Haliburton is not solely focused on scoring a bunch of points in the series. Instead, he has 43 FGA in 3 games with an average of 14.3. Interestingly, most of these FGAs have been taken from the three-point range. However, with more games still to come, it is expected that Haliburton will eventually attempt a free throw sooner or later. Meanwhile, with the Pacers in the driving seat now, fans on the internet cannot help but marvel at Tyrese Haliburton’s antics.
