NBA referee Scott Foster is seemingly having a hard time this year. While officiating NBA games is no child’s play, his luck with getting hit has been quite remarkable. Earlier, Foster got hit by LeBron James, which left him bloodied. And if that was not enough, Foster went through an identical situation while conducting the Western Conference finals. With the tensions flaring between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Scott Foster came in the firing line of Lu Dort.
During a moment in Game 2, Dort and Julius Randle got involved in a tussle. Going for a jump ball in the first quarter, the duo pounced swiftly on their target. Trying to whiff the ball, Dort threw his hands which accidentally landed on Foster’s face. This left him in pain as blood could be seen coming out of his nose.

And that was not the only injury he suffered. During the tussle, Randle’s feet also unintentionally hit the official on the stomach. Visibly in pain, there was a brief pause in the game before Foster came back after getting initial treatments. Meanwhile, the entire situation had the fans significantly amused.
