Ben Simmons is officially on the trade block as he hit free agency, as the Los Angeles Clippers’ season has come to an end.
It’s been a tough road for the former No. 1 pick since his public fallout with the Philadelphia 76ers. Many fans remember how he struggled after that heartbreaking loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
And unfortunately, injuries have kept him off the court more than anyone would like.
Despite what feels like a rollercoaster career, Simmons is still only in his late 20s and has plenty of talent. There’s a good chance that a team will take a chance on him this offseason, and right now, the Clippers are a frontrunner, with +375 odds at Bovada.

This season, Simmons averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game, shooting an impressive 52% from the field over 51 games. Sure, it’s hard to envision him making a big impact as a scorer, but his playmaking skills are undeniable.
However, with a couple of teams still in the mix for him, fans on social media have started trashing him.
