LeBron James has recently reached the 50,000 points mark, and there’s nobody like him, to say the least. He’s dunking, shooting, jumping, and whatnot, that too at the age of 40. While it’ll never be too much to talk about what he could, there’s more to what he could’ve.
Recently, a decade-old narrative has again taken the internet. According to some social media theorists, LeBron has taken the performance enhancement drug or PED. A video from Patrick Bet-David’s PBD podcast recently went viral where he was discussing the findings of some reports.
“Is LeBron doing GH or young growth hormone? Is this the Lance Armstrong story that’s about to come out and they’re gonna strip them all these different accolades. LeBron James’ close associate Earnest Mims, business manager and David Alexander trainer have been named in an undirected federal document related to the Biogenesis scandal. However there is no accusation or evidence of LeBron James using performance enhancement drugs [PED],” Bet-David read the report.
New evidence suggests that the NBA tried covering up the link between LeBron and the Biogenesis investigation with James' camp declining ESPN's request to interview him despite providing applicable information to back up their questioning. 🤔

While these theories are made every now and then, LeBron need not worry about the chirp. Ron Harper has come out strongly in James’ defense amid the resurfacing rumors related to the NBA’s Biogenesis investigation.
After the podcast discussing past allegations surfaced, Harper expressed his frustration with those trying to tarnish James’ legacy. He emphasized that the DEA had already cleared LeBron of any wrongdoing, which should put an end to such speculative chatter.
“I’m over this BS let the kid play basketball and enjoy how good he has been over his career,” Harper said.

According to Harper, it’s time for fans and commentators to step back and appreciate the phenomenal career James has had rather than dwell on unfounded allegations.
LeBron James Found Clean During 2013 Biogenesis Probe

In 2013, LeBron James found himself briefly swept up in the controversy surrounding the Biogenesis investigation. However, ESPN revealed that LeBron was cleared of any wrongdoing as per the obtained federal documents.
The focus on James arose due to his connections with trainer David Alexander and friend Ernest “Randy” Mims, both implicated in receiving illegal performance-enhancing drugs. Despite these links, the investigation concluded with no evidence against the four-time NBA MVP, affirming that he had done nothing wrong.
“There was never any indication that LeBron James did anything wrong. [He’s] apparently an overweight guy. And he went to him [Acevedo] about possibly getting some testosterone treatment stuff that they were giving a bunch of overweight guys in Miami, and they dropped a lot of weight,” DEA’s agent Kevin Stanfill said.

Yet, as the lead DEA investigator noted, there was never any indication of misconduct on James’ part. This clarity is crucial, as LeBron has consistently maintained a clean record, never testing positive for performance-enhancing substances throughout his illustrious career.
