The Knicks leaned on their star duo of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson, who combined for an astounding 80 points. Their offensive explosion set the tone for one of the highest-scoring games of the season as both teams battled until the final seconds.
With this win, the Knicks improved to a 36-18 record, securing their position as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks, meanwhile, dropped to 26-29, placing them ninth in the East.

Karl-Anthony Towns dropped 44 points on 14-of-25 shooting, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out three assists, and recorded two steals.
With back-to-back 40+ point games, Towns joined an elite group of Knicks legends, Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, Carmelo Anthony, and Jalen Brunson, as one of the few players in franchise history to achieve this feat.

Jalen Brunson was equally spectacular. He put up 36 points and eight assists while shooting 13-of-21 from the field. His scoring consistency continues to make waves, as he tied Knicks icon Bernard King for 30-point games as a Knick with 72.
Aside from Towns and Brunson, the Knicks saw crucial contributions from other players. Precious Achiuwa stepped up with 26 points and eight rebounds, while Josh Hart finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists.

For the Hawks, Trae Young scored 38 points and dished out 19 assists in a masterful offensive display. Onyeka Okongwu controlled the boards with 14 rebounds while adding 21 points. Dyson Daniels added 23 points while Caris LeVert contributed 20 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.
