NBA games usually keep the fans on the edge of their seats. And if it is the finals, then most fans are glued to what transpires on the court. However, that was not the case when Stephen A. Smith turned up at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. With Game 4 of the NBA finals in full flow, Smith was caught on the phone. And such a sight made the NBA analyst face immense backlash. Nick Wright immediately picked up this moment to take an indirect dig.
In a recent episode of the ‘First Things First’ podcast, Nick Wright opened the show in a hilarious manner. As the show started, Wright could be seen engrossed in his cellphone. And while his co-host alerted him, Wright pretended that he was so busy that he forgot about the show. This was an indirect jab at Smith, who turned his attention to his phone in the middle of the NBA finals.
“What, a guy can’t multitask?! I can’t multitask?!” said Wright.
