After taking a 53-48 advantage into halftime against the Orlando Magic, Boston maintained full control throughout the second half, not allowing Paolo Banchero and his squad any room for a comeback.
Jayson Tatum once again delivered a standout performance to fuel Boston’s success, and he received strong backing from the team’s core contributors. With the series now at 3-1 in favor of the Celtics, they are just one win away from officially moving on to the next round of the postseason.
Jayson Tatum Shines Bright Once Again In The Boston Celtics Game 4 Win

Tatum once again proved why he is one of the NBA’s brightest stars. He finished the night with 37 points, pulling down 14 rebounds, and dishing out three assists. He also added three steals to his strong performance. Tatum made 10 of his 25 shots from the field and was perfect at the free-throw line, knocking down all 14 of his attempts.

Tatum scored 16 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter to help seal the win. This was Tatum’s 32nd playoff game with 30 or more points, the most of any player in the NBA since 2020.
Jaylen Brown contributed 21 points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. Derrick White added 18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

Al Horford chipped in with six points, six rebounds, and two assists. Meanwhile, Kristaps Porzingis had a strong showing with 19 points, five rebounds, and one assist.
On the Magic’s side, Paolo Banchero did everything he could to keep the Magic in the game. The young star scored 31 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and handed out three assists in 40 minutes. Franz Wagner also had a solid outing with 24 points, six rebounds, and seven assists.
Wendell Carter Jr. added nine points and 11 rebounds, while Cory Joseph and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope combined for 20 points and ten assists. Anthony Black provided a spark off the bench with ten points and four rebounds.
Game 5 between Boston and Orlando is scheduled for Tuesday.
