
The Kevin Durant trade has happened, as expected, following widespread talks that the 15-time All-Star would leave the Phoenix Suns during the current window.
Durant, the 2014 MVP, is headed to the Houston Rockets as part of a blockbuster trade that sees Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks go the other way, per ESPN’s Shams Charania. The Suns will also receive the No. 10 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft and five second-round picks.
“The Phoenix Suns are trading two-time NBA Finals MVP KD to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks, sources tell ESPN,” Charania reported on Sunday.
