In a few weeks, we will have a new NBA Champion — for the seventh straight year — and a first-time champion.
Indiana travels to Oklahoma City for Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday, June 5. This is a 2-2-1-1-1 format.
Unfortunately for the league, the outcome of the series has seemingly already been determined.
A social media user shared an apparent Google search post about the upcoming NBA Finals, which showed that the Game ended with the Oklahoma City Thunder winning on the road, 106-95.
That victory would end the series as Oklahoma will apparently win the series, 4-1.

Oklahoma City opened as high as -800 favorites, with Indiana as +525 underdogs.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers are playing in the 2025 NBA Finals. This is the first time these two teams have met in the postseason.
The Thunder, formerly the Seattle SuperSonics, are seeking their first title in the Oklahoma City era.
As for the Pacers, they are looking to break a championship drought since their ABA days.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012 after dispatching the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games.
The Indiana Pacers are in the Finals for the first time since 2000, when they took on Kobe and Shaq.
Oklahoma City has arguably been the best team in the league all season, going 68-14 in the tough Western Conference to earn the No. 1 seed.
