Men’s basketball star Collin Murray-Boyles received an invite to attend the 2025 NBA Draft live on June 25 from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, but Chloe Kitts would steal the show.
Kitts, a star women’s basketball player for Dawn Staley, joined him on his big day.
Murray-Boyles spent the past two seasons playing for coach Lamont Paris. The Toronto Raptors drafted him at No. 9 overall, the second-highest pick in program history.
Once his name was called, Kitts stood up to hug and applaud him. She was also seen on TV wearing a Raptors hat.

Kitts met Murray-Boyles at South Carolina, and the two have been dating since 2023.
Their first big event was a red carpet appearance at the Gamecock Gala in 2024, shortly after the Gamecocks won the national championship, which Murray-Boyles attended.

This past season, he averaged 16.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game and finished in double digits 28 times.
Following a game where he finished with a career-high 35 points plus seven rebounds, he was interviewed by SEC Network and was asked which game was better — his or Kitts.
“I give it to her; I give it to her,” he said. “She played with a lot of heart and I love watching that game, I might replay it.”
