With each day taking us closer to the NBA Draft, we have something new in the Kevin Durant trade discussion.
After the wind was moving strongly towards the top three teams Durant could land in, another EC contender is back in action.
As per recent reports, the Miami Heat are coming as the “most enticing” trade destination for the Phoenix Suns superstar.
According to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, the Heat could make a great offer involving a tradable first-round pick.
“Sources say Miami is in legitimate pursuit of Durant again — just as it chased him at the February trade deadline. The Heat’s offer, in the end, could even prove to be most enticing from the Suns’ perspective. Sources say Durant had Miami high on his list of desired trade destinations when he first requested to be dealt by Brooklyn,” Fischer wrote.

Miami Heat Could Blow Up If They Go For Kevin Durant

While the Suns are on the lookout for the most potential deal for Kevin Durant, the Heat could shuffle things up.
Reports indicate that Miami has been pursuing Durant since his initial trade request from the Brooklyn Nets and is motivated to continue those efforts. The Heat’s potential trade package includes starting-level players such as Andrew Wiggins and Duncan Robinson.
Additionally, they could add up three tradeable first-round picks: the No. 20 pick in the upcoming draft, and additional first-round selections in 2030 and 2032.
This combination of established talent and future assets could make Miami’s proposal very appealing to the Suns.
Durant’s desire to play for the Heat has been well-known for some time. Miami was among the preferred destinations when he expressed his wish to be traded from Brooklyn.
The team’s playoff exit has fueled their interest in Durant. And they are seeking star power to enhance their competitive edge.
