The Golden State Warriors came a long way after what looked like a really poor start. With Jimmy Butler coming in, the pairing alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green looked impeccable. Unfortunately, despite an impressive run, the Warriors had to bid adieu to the league in the second round of the playoffs. Thus, there are rumors of a major shakeup with the offseason loading.
In a recent appearance on ‘The Zack Lowe Show’, ‘The Ringer’s Logan Murdock had an interesting proposition. He opined that the Warriors might target Boston Celtics’ star, Derrick White. White had quite an impressive run this year and would provide some more strength to the Warriors’ forward line.
“Another guy that I think you should look at for the Warriors going forward is Derrick White… I think that’s something that the Warriors are looking at right now… That’s somebody that you should look at as well,” said Murdock.

If the Cs get a Mikal Bridges type offer for Derrick then MAYBE they move him. I personally think they keep him. And the Warriors don’t have that type of package imo. pic.twitter.com/XeIF3lSh1I
Surely, White’s averages of 16.4 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists speak volumes about his on-court prowess. If this deal with White were to happen, then the Warriors would have to break up the team’s core. Because at the moment, the Warriors’ lineup looks quite stacked. Meanwhile, amidst all sorts of speculations about the Warriors’ future, Stephen A. Smith had a sombre update about Stephen Curry.
Stephen A. Smith Made A Sad Prediction About Stephen Curry’s NBA Hopes With The Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry last won a championship with the Golden State Warriors back in 2022. However, ever since then, the quest for another NBA title has remained elusive. And while Curry will return to the Warriors’ lineup to chase the dream again next year, Stephen A. Smith had a concerning update to share. Speaking on ‘First Take’ on ESPN, Smith opined that Curry’s quest might remain incomplete. He said the absence of stars such as Kevin Durant might be tough for the Warriors to cope with.

“I think the second we really, really knew in our hearts this was it [for the Warriors] was when they didn’t get Kevin Durant to come back. I think we’ve seen the last of Steph Curry as a champion in Golden State,” Smith said.
